This August for the third year now I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I started doing this challenge because of a beautiful soul I met, Ellery! I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful 5 year old girl while working. She had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarruma which is unfortunatley a rare and aggressive form of cancer. We would transfer her from McMaster Children's Hospital to Juravinski Hospital for her weekly radiation treatments. I'll never forget holding her still body after being sedated and transferring it off our stretcher and onto a scan bed for her treatment. You are always in my thoughts Ellery, you were so brave and strong. RIP

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help kids like Ellery and support SickKids Foundation to allow them to continue their work in developing treatments and finding a cure for childhood cancer.
