This August, will be my 6th year participating in the Great Cycle Challenge. This annual event provides much needed funding and promotes awareness in the ongoing battle to end cancer among our young children. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. After 4 surgeries and numerous chemo treatments I am very fortunate to announce a clean bill of health so far. So many young children and adults have either lost their courageous battle or continue to fight. It is only with the continued support of so many generous and caring donors that vital research can continue. Cancer is responsible for the deaths of over 1,400 young children in Canada each year. It is my hope, and the hope of many that one day cancer will no longer effect the lives of so many of our children. Young kids should be living life, not fighting for it. I am raising funds through my challenge to help these young children and to support "Sick Kids Foundation".
